Rotary valve
Rotary valve

ALWAYS Turn the pump OFF before changing the position of the Rotary Valve. Here is a description of each function on the valve:

Filtration - Pool > Pump > Rotary Valve > Down through the sand (trapping suspended particles) > Rotary Valve > Back to the pool via the jets

Waste - Pool > Pump > Rotary Valve > Drains

Closed - No passage of water through the valve in any direction

Backwash - Pool > Pump > Rotary Valve > Up through the sand (pushing out the trapped particles) > Rotary Valve > Drains

Circulation - Pool > Pump > Rotary Valve > Back to the pool via the jets

Rinse - Pool > Pump > Rotary Valve > Down through the sand (trapping suspended particles) > Rotary Valve > Drains
